We are seeking a graduate to join our cyber and ICT risk management team. We are looking for an individual who can partner closely with first-line technology areas to identify, assess, prioritize, mitigate, and report on AQMetrics cyber and ICT Risks.
The job contributes to the overall goal of maintaining and increasing AQMetrics resiliency by identifying, assessing, and preparing its digital operations for any internal and external factors and risks that could interfere with reaching its goals and objectives. The role will be wide-ranging allowing the graduate to work on policy management, issue management, change management, risk assessment, resiliency, technology platform, third-party oversight and business partners.
Implementation of risk management programs – partner with the first line of defence – Technology teams and Chief Technology Officer to support the implementation of Risk Management programs including issue management, policy management, change management, risk assessment, third-party risk management, and training.
Risk identification and remediation – effective challenge and technology oversight including identification of risks and developing remediation strategies (e.g., corrective actions). Support risk assessments, monitoring, and reporting on technology risks inherent to AQMetrics business activities, including engineering, security and cyber. Manage technology issues and self-identify, monitor, remediate and report on issues.
Risk mitigation – apply knowledge of systems and solutions, data architecture, software development, IT operations, and technical controls in anticipation of technology risks inherent to AQMetrics. Understand Technology risks and their relationship to Security, Legal, Privacy and other operational risks at AQMetrics.
Training – gain Technology and Security Framework subject matter expertise to ensure delivery of risk-related awareness, training and orientation to all employees, and other appropriate third parties.
Applicants must have graduated with a minimum 2:1 degree from any university or be in their final year of study
MSc or degree in digital or cybersecurity risk management is a distinct advantage
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and meet internal deadlines as well as part of a team
Ability to multitask is critical
Strong technical skills
